About the event
ABOUT
In the fourth digital seminar, we address the topic of Responsibility.
Responsible leadership means making decisions that ultimately benefit those which the decisions also affect. From stakeholder, to participants, the general public and society more widely. In this seminar we will look at our own relationship to responsibility  and what potential impact choices of responsibility can level.
The seminar is moderated by NHLP-EU fellow Majo Cázares, with guest speaker yamna el atlassi.
From their roles within structures and teams, to more largely as citizens in an increasingly ultra right-leaning cultural and governmental context, they propose a workframe from which to understand these different layers of responsibility and action.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR
Majo is a freelance performer, production manager and educator. A passionate intellectual and aspiring independent scholar, their areas of interest and study include the dynamics and overlap between systems of power, particularly through the prism of intersectional feminist, anti-racist, sex worker rights, decolonial climate justice, worker rights, LGBTQIA+, class, anti-capitalist, immigrant and disability movements and activism.
ABOUT THE GUEST SPEAKER
yamna is a consultant, facilitator, and public speaker on subjects such as diversity and inclusion in the cultural sector. yamna works as an advisor on diversity, inclusion, equity, accessibility and antidiscrimination policies, and collaborates with art institutions, authorities, collectives, etc., to advise for more presence and better representation of people from marginalized groups. yamna is also a radio host, and sometimes involved in artistic collaborations as a curator or performer.
